Last Fall, I was delighted to meet Luke and Kate and shoot their engagement photos at Grapevine Lake.
Now residing in Houston, Luke wanted to show Kate the lake he’d spent Summers on.
So we walked, got to know each other a bit and found some beautiful light by the water. Water and sunlight = my favorite. <3
I met Sara when she was 16. When we moved to Texas, J and I needed a date night, so we interviewed this bubbly, confident teenager whose cheerful smile and warm heart instantly won me over. Needless to say, we left the kids with her as often as her schedule and our budget allowed:).
I’ve had the joy of watching her grow. Photographed her Senior pictures (twice). Prom dress. And
Today is my birthday. I’m reflecting on another year, but more, all the people that God’s brought into my life this past year. Like The Crouch family. I first got to know their beautiful family last Fall, when I met Katherine to photograph her Bridals at Lost Mission in San Antonio (part 1 of her Bridals is here, part 2 is here), and instantly fell in love with these people. But this unique wedding at the lovely Hidden Pines Chapel in Highland Village, TX, couldn’t get lost on my hard drive.
Last Fall, I got to experience and photograph my first Mexican themed wedding. Laura and Robert spent months preparing every last detail.
